IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Authorities are investigating after 16 firearms were stolen from an Idaho Falls gun shop and firing range.

Idaho Falls police spokesman Joelyn Hansen tells The Post Register officers responded to the store early Tuesday to an active alarm. They found a garage-style door had been damaged and used to gain access to the store. No arrests have been made, and police have not yet identified any suspects.

The store's general manager, Andy Giddings, says surveillance footage shows a man ramming the door with his truck, breaking in and then filling a shopping basket with guns before fleeing. He says the suspect took off with more than $10,000 worth of guns.
