BLACKFOOT, Idaho (AP) — Authorities have arrested two Idaho men on cattle rustling charges.

The Times-News reports that the Bingham County Sheriff's Office says state police told them they found two Blackfoot men who couldn't provide ownership documentation for 16 cattle. The April 7 report followed Blackfoot rancher Chris Drakos' observation that 16 of his cattle went missing over the course of a year.

They are valued at a total of $19,200 and are believed to have been stolen sporadically between January 2015 and January 2016. Two of Drakos' employees were arrested Friday and charged with 16 counts of grand theft for cattle rustling. Preliminary hearings for both men are scheduled for April 21.
