The National Weather Service is predicting wind gusts of up to 50 MPH tonight as a cold front moves from Oregon through Southern Idaho.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of South Central Idaho, Southwest Idaho, West Central Idaho, Northeast Oregon, and Southeast Oregon.

A sharp cold front will bring showers, thunderstorms, and gusty winds to Southeast Oregon and Southwest Idaho this evening (Sept 17). Winds of 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected with the cold frontal passage. The front will track through Southeast Oregon reaching the Idaho/Oregon border around 5 pm, the Treasure Valley between 5 and 8 pm and the western Magic Valley between 8 and 10 pm.
