TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Smoke from wildfires prompt health warning from Idaho environmental authorities Monday. The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has issued an Air Quality Forecast and Caution for people in Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka, and Twin Falls County. The department says that the current warning level is moderate but expect it to possibly get as high as unhealthy.

The DEQ has issued the following guidelines:  When air quality is moderate, air quality is acceptable; however, people who are unusually sensitive to air pollution may experience health impacts and should consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion.

Idaho DEQ has also banned all outdoor burning.
