SHOSHONE, Idaho (KLIX) Police say alcohol is a factor in a crash on Highway 75 near Shoshone Tuesday afternoon. According to Idaho State Police, at around 4:25 p.m. Jose Garcia Duran, 57, of Shoshone, was pulling out of the Johnny’s Country Store in a Ford pickup truck and failed to yield to Luz Carrasco, 57, of Hailey, who was driving south on the highway in a Mitsubishi Outlander. Carrasco had to be taken to the hospital. ISP says both drivers had been wearing seat belts during the crash. Highway 75 was closed for about two hours during the investigation.
