Alcohol Suspected in Crash that Killed Rupert Man

RUPERT, Id. ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Early Sunday morning a Rupert man was killed in a car crash. Just before 1:00 A.M., the Minidoka County Sheriff's Office and the Rupert Police Department responded to a crash at 300 West Baseline Road in Rupert. 49-year-old Jeffery Allen was found dead at the scene. He was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. According to a press release, alcohol is believed to be involved. The crash is still under investigation.
