Allegiant Air announced this week it will be suspending flights from Twin Falls to Las Vegas.  The suspension won’t take effect until August 15th and it will be a temporary suspension lasting until mid-November.  Jordan McGee with Allegiant Air said the company aligns flight schedules with expected travel plans and such suspensions are not uncommon.  Allegiant Air began offering the twice-weekly flights last June.  Seven employees at Magic Valley Regional Airport will have their hours cut back but they will not lose their jobs since ticket sales will continue for flights outside of the suspension period.
