It's been a while since we've had any fresh intel on Ryan Murphy FX spooker 'American Horror Story's third cycle 'Coven,' but amid all the new faces, it seems one of its highest profile veterans will return to the fold. The Emmy-nominated Denis O'Hare will return to the franchise after sitting out 'Asylum,' but what role can we expect the former 'True Blood' vampire to take this time around?

Heck if we know! Series creator Ryan Murphy first revealed the casting over Twitter, but in typical Ryan Murphy fashion, offered no details of the return role. O'Hare previously earned an Emmy nod for supporting actor in his role as the horrifically burned Larry Harvey in season 1, but opted out of making any appearances in 'American Horror Story: Asylum.'

So far, we do know that the third season will be set in the modern day across several cities primarily New Orleans, and will occasionally dip back into the past as the story requires. ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ will also welcome newcomers Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Patti LuPone, Gabourey Sidibe and Kathy Bates, along with returning franchise regulars Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe, Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson. Prior series stars Zachary Quinto and Dylan McDermott have not been confirmed to return, and may sit the third round out if scheduling falls through.

Well, what say you? Are you excited to have another familiar face for 'American Horror Story: Coven?' What franchise vets would you like to see join before the fall premiere?
