Arrest Made In Attempted Smoke Shop Robbery

A Twin Falls man has been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery of the smoke-n-head tobacco shop in Twin Falls over the weekend. (Police say 18-year-old Caleb Faulkner was arrested Sunday Morning after they identified him through surveillance videos. Faulkner is suspected of driving his pick up truck through the doors of the store Friday morning. Faulkner ran through the store, approached the safe then was caught on camera fleeing the store empty handed. Police say Faulkner made a similar attempt on Sunday morning. This time a witness spotted the suspect and was able to identify the vehicle. Officers located the vehicle on Locust St. North. Smoke-n-head merchandise was found among Faulkner’s belongings.  He was arrested and transported to the Twin Falls County Jail.
