Kimberly, Idaho (KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV) - An attempted robbery of the Ridley’s Grocery store in Kimberly ended with one male being taken into custody.

Kimberly Police and deputies from the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Department were called to the store just before 3 p.m. Friday after a person went to the store making demands at the pharmacy. When the pharmacist refused, the suspect ran through the store. An employee began following and called 911. The store worker continued to follow the suspect while remaining on the phone updating authorities with a current location.

Authorities located the suspect who was taken into custody in a nearby neighborhood, a few minutes after the incident. Authorities have not said if a weapon was displayed or released the name of the suspect.
