Attendance Up At Sun Valley
Officials at the Sun Valley ski resort in central Idaho say more people hit the slopes this season compared to last year. In a statement on Tuesday, Sun Valley spokesman Jack Sibbach said the ski resort had a 2 percent increase in visitors this year, with a final count of more than 407,500 when the season ended Sunday. Early snow allowed the resort to open Thanksgiving Day and run through April 24, for a total of 151 days. Sibbach has said this season was the fifth best on record for overall snowfall at the resort. This year marked Sun Valley's 75th season.
