HAILEY, Idaho (AP) — Officials in central Idaho have approved spending $1.36 million to rebuild the roof on the 130-year-old Blaine County Courthouse in Hailey. The Idaho Mountain Express reports that the Blaine County Commission on Tuesday opted to allocate the money. The amount is about $500,000 more than anticipated two years ago. County Administrator Derek Voss says rebuilding the roof is critically important for the safety of the building. Construction is scheduled to start this month and finish in November.
