If you party hard New Year's Eve, you might want to consider a trip to Boise once you're safe enough to drive. Conde Nast Traveler has listed the West Side Drive-In as one of the top 3 diners in the US to recover on New Year's Day.

Why West Side Drive-In? Here's Conde Nast's reasoning.

Chef Lou, the brains behind the greasy spoon empire that is the West Side Drive-In in Boise (there are two local locations), is a local celebrity, with a cooking segment on the local NBC affiliate and an arsenal of delicious foods for patrons to choose from. Try the finger steaks (fried and battered stripped sirloin) for an entry or Chef Lou’s famous “ice cream potato” for dessert (we’ll let your stomach do the imagining). Speaking of which, the menu is covered in spuds, because you can’t go to Boise and not get carb-crazy.

The rankings apparently came from some numbers crunched by the Foursquare app. We were never great at math, so we'll take their word for it.
