BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The National Weather Service is reporting a record rainfall at the Boise airport.

The Idaho Statesman reports a weather system passing through the Treasure Valley dumped 1.15 inches on the airport Saturday night. That's a record not only for Nov. 1 but also for any single day in November. The previous record was 0.92 inches, set Nov. 17, 1898. And the rain didn't stop at midnight. The total rainfall for the storm was 1.21 inches.

An estimated 6 to 8 inches of snow fell at Bogus Basin, and Brundage got about 4 inches. But officials expect that snow to melt as temperatures warm up this week.
