BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A 31-year-old Boise man has been sentenced to at least 15 years in prison for assaulting a woman at a Boise mall parking lot in May and hitting a woman with his pickup truck after she tried to intervene.

Fourth District Judge Patrick Owen sentenced Greggory Macho on Tuesday to 30 years in prison with parole eligibility after 15. Macho didn't comment during the hearing. Angela Smoot testified that she suffered two broken legs, nerve damage and head injuries when Macho's pickup truck drove over her as he fled the parking lot on May 14.

The other victim, a 22-year-old woman, did not testify. She told investigators Macho pushed her into her car and kissed and groped her before Smoot intervened. Macho earlier pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, aggravated battery and destruction of evidence.
