Boise Man Captured in Oregon After 2-State High-Speed Chase

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A Boise man is facing charges after authorities say he led police on a high-speed chase that spanned the Idaho-Washington border.

Police say 22-year-old Spencer Cox drove at speeds that reached 120 mph as he fled Friday. The Idaho Statesman reports that an Idaho State Police officer pulled over Cox and discovered he had an outstanding felony warrant from Ada County.

Police say Cox fled and officers pursued, terminating the chase after 22 miles when he reached the Oregon border. Oregon State Police located Cox and he was captured after a short foot pursuit.
