BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Boise State and Idaho have agreed to maintain their decades-old basketball rivalry with a neutral site game in downtown Boise. School officials on Tuesday announced the Nov. 27 game, which will be played at the CenturyLink Arena in Boise. The Broncos and Vandals were once members of the Western Athletic Conference and fans across the state could count on the teams meeting twice each season, once in Boise and once in Moscow. Even though the schools now play in difference leagues, athletic officials have worked to keep the rivalry somewhat intact the last two years. Boise State has won each of the last two meetings at neutral sites. The Broncos also hold a 52-35 advantage since their first tussle with the Vandals in 1971.
