The Twin Falls City Council will be discussing the proposed budget for the coming fiscal year again at regular city council meeting later today.  The Council will meet at 4:30 instead of the regular time of 5 p.m.  And although things are not yet final it looks as though the YMCA may continue operating the Twin Falls city pool.  Earlier the city asked for proposals from other entities for running the city pool and received several responses.  However, the latest proposal from the YMCA estimates it could save the city about $219,000 dollars over the next seven years.  The new proposal was prompted by complaints from city officials that the operation of the city was costing too much.  However, there still must be some agreements finalized between the city and the YMCA before anything becomes final.
