Buhl school district officials are warning that due to state cutbacks the district is over half a million dollars short for the coming school year’s budget.  In order to make up the shortfall, the Buhl school district voters will be able to vote on a supplemental levy on May 17thThe district is asking for $572,000 dollars for one year that would fund the district’s maintenance and operations costs for the 2011-12 school year.  Property owners would pay just over $60 dollars for every $100,000 in property value.  Officials say the supplemental levy is very important in order to keep things running at current levels.
