C3 Announces Layoffs

According to the Times-News the 100 employees received the bad news this morning. The announcement by the Florida based company came as a shock to some of the employees who have been working at the call center less then a year. A corporate spokesperson says the layoffs are due to a change in a client’s program. The company says those laid off are eligible for rehire and it’s working to help those affected to find temporary jobs.  Roughly 700 people work at the building which took over the old Dell call center building last year.
