California Woman Charged with Trafficking Drugs Near Jackpot

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - A California woman is behind bars after a routine traffic stop near Jackpot - ended with her being arrested for drug trafficking.

40-year-old Bobbie Jean Gilligansturges was traveling to Twin Falls from Stockton California with three other people. When the vehicle she was riding in was pulled over for speeding. The officer said he could smell marijuana and searched the car.

Inside police found over six pounds of marijuana. That included 16 packages of marijuana and over 33 grams of marijuana wax. Officers also found over two grams of meth in her purse.
