The Cantrell family of Filer has experienced great loss. The family was in a serious car accident on October 2nd on Poleline Road. 32-year-old Charlie Cantrell and his son, 10-year-old Kamdyn Cantrell passed away from injuries sustained in the accident. Charlie and Kamdyn are survived by Mackensie Cantrell, Charlie's wife and Kamdyn's mother, and 4 year old son Jaykob Cantrell.

Friends and family members of the Cantrell family have organized a benefit dinner and raffle fundraiser. The event will be held at Immaculate Conception Offc on November 12th at 6:30pm. They are inviting everyone in the community to attend. Guests will enjoy Tri-tip, garlic potatoes, homemade bread, salad and a brownie dessert. Beer and wine will also be served.

Friends and family members of the Cantrell family encourage you to come support Mackensie and Jaykob. All proceeds raised will go directly to Mackensie Cantrell and their 4-year-old son Jaykob in hopes of alleviating some of the stress and medical expenses.
