Caretaker Charged with Stealing from Elderly Woman

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) Monday Adela Flores Vega, 41, was arraigned in Twin Falls County Court.

In January, Vega was charged with felony grand theft, two felony forgery counts. Vega allegedly forged 44 checks totaling more than $17,000 from an elderly lady she worked for from July 2014 to July 2015.

Court documents indicated theft occurred from forged checks from two different bank accounts. Vega is being held on $25,000 bond. Her preliminary hearing is slated for March 18 at 8:15 a.m. at the Twin Falls County Courthouse.
