BURLEY, Id. (KMVT-KSVT) The Cassia County School Board will go back to the voters and ask for another 14.9 million dollars.

That's the decision Wednesday night from the school board, which has been working to figure out what to do when they came up almost 15–million dollars short of what it needed to complete the projects approved by voters in a bond election last march.

At the meeting, the board said this was the only decision they could make that would allow them to provide the district with the upgrades and new schools they promised when the bond was passed.

The board will begin work immediately on drafting the proposal for the new bond. There is no word yet when the bond proposal will go before voters.
