10 Things Mothers Want for Mothers Day

1. They don’t want to assist anyone with their bathroom needs.

2. They want brunch! But not with the whole frigging family.

Commentary: Remembering Marv Hubbard

Marv Hubbard died.  His name doesn’t mean much beyond the world of sports and to people under 50-years-old.  For me he was Superman.  For almost a decade he pummeled opposing defenses as a fullback for the Oakland Raiders

Commentary: The Sunday Phone Call

Commentary: Paganism Replaces Christ & Islam Follows Paganism

Former Carter/Mondale mouthpiece Bob Beckel admits liberals destroyed the American family.  He made the comments several months ago on the Five on Fox News.  Beckel was talking about Aid to Dependent Children, which encouraged single motherhood by giving more of your money to women who didn’t have men living in their homes

Commentary: Muslim Minority Rules

Commentary: Waiting to See Faith Film Little Boy

I like going to the movies.  I just don’t do it nearly as often as I did when I was young.  I did see American Sniper earlier this year and thought it well worth the ticket price.  While I was disappointed it didn’t win Best Picture at the Academy Awards I can’t complain because I didn’t see the competition

Commentary: Watered Down Catholic Faith

This morning I’ll go to mass and listen to a homily I won’t remember Tuesday.  It’s a rare homily I remember for more than a few days.  “Bueller?  Bueller?  Bueller?” is about all I can recall by mid-week
