(KLIX)- A number of head of cattle located in the South Hills were killed as a result of the Cave Canyon Fire. Minidoka Fire Complex Management officials have confirmed that 20 head of cattle died from the fire. However, NewsRadio 1310 has received unconfirmed reports that the death toll could be much higher than that. Officials with the Twin Falls County Sheriff's office say they know several ranchers lost cows in the blaze but a definite number is not know.  So far the fire has burned nearly 90,000 acres of land south of Murtaugh and Hansen. We'll bring you more information as it becomes available.
