TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Try foods you haven’t tasted before, see dances you haven’t seen before, listen to music you haven’t heard before at Magic Valley Refugee Day.

The festivities begin at 6 p.m. today, June 16, on the College of Southern Idaho campus. This is the eighth year of the event, coordinated by the CSI Refugee Center. According to information from the college:

The annual event celebrates the diversity in our community as well as recognizing and thanking area residents for their support and help in relocating displaced families throughout the year.

There'll be singing and dancing from the ethnic populations, but also displays with information and foods from their home countries.

The event, located at the CSI soccer field, is free to attend – though you might want to bring your own chairs or blankets.

For more info, call the CSI Refugee Center, 736-2166.
