Child Drowns Near Richfield

Richfield, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A four year old died after drowning near Richfield over the weekend. Idaho’s First News reports It all happened when a family spending the afternoon near the Richfield Canal, a branch of the Little Wood River – couldn't find the girl. They called 911.

Lincoln County sheriff's deputies with other emergency responders located the four year old girl on the bank of the river, who didn't respond to the emergency workers. CPR was started before the girl was flown to the hospital.
