Idaho finishes in the middle of the pack when it comes to children’s healthcare.

The numbers in fly-over country could be getting worse.

Neighboring Montana fares much worse at 46th and Nevada is dead last.  The figures are provided by WalletHub.  Before we jump to conclusions remember in many western states it’s a very long drive from the ranch to a pediatrician’s office.   Idaho is 25th overall.  When it comes to childhood nutrition and obesity Idaho places a respectable 16th.

The numbers in fly-over country could be getting worse.  Today the Heritage Foundation warns of a pending shortage of physicians.  The U.S. Population continues growing and the number of senior citizens is growing even faster.  You can have a government sponsored healthcare system but without doctors it may be a failure.
