Child Healthcare is Poor Among Idaho Neighbors

Idaho finishes in the middle of the pack when it comes to children’s healthcare.

Neighboring Montana fares much worse at 46^th and Nevada is dead last.  The figures are provided by WalletHub.  Before we jump to conclusions remember in many western states it’s a very long drive from the ranch to a pediatrician’s office.   Idaho is 25^th overall.  When it comes to childhood nutrition and obesity Idaho places a respectable 16^th.

The numbers in fly-over country could be getting worse.  Today the Heritage Foundation warns of a pending shortage of physicians.  The U.S. Population continues growing and the number of senior citizens is growing even faster.  You can have a government sponsored healthcare system but without doctors it may be a failure.
