City Budget Could See Increase-Still Early
(KLIX)- Last night the Twin Falls City Council got an update on the budget process. City Manager Travis Rothweiler met with the council for the second time on how the budget is coming together for 2012-2013 budget. At this point Rothweiler said it was very preliminary, and more of a work in progress. Department heads have been meeting after city council gave them some direction earlier. Right now the city is operating on about $48 million dollar budget, early numbers indicate that it could go up $3 million. But, again, that’s a very early estimate and there is still a lot of work to city must do. A final budget won’t be ready until August.
