The Twin Falls city golf course may soon have a new man in charge.  The Twin Falls City Council will discuss a proposed contract tonight with Steve Meyerhoeffer.  The course has been without a permanent manager since Golf Pro Mike Hamblin left to become the manager of the Blue Lakes Golf Course.  According to the Times news the new contract will limit the city’s subsidy for the golf course to capital improvements, equipment, the employment of a greens keeper and if the net profit of the course falls below $55,000.  It will also allow for a profit sharing arrangement if profits exceed $75,000.  Between 2008 and 2010 the course has accumulated a deficit of over $200,000.
