Civics Targeted in Resent Thefts in Twin Falls

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Recent car thefts in Twin Falls have targeted older Honda Civics.

Twin Falls Police say thee have been seven reports of stolen cars in the last three months. All stolen have been Honda Civics made between 1996 and 2000. Three stolen cars have been recovered.

Police say the valuables in the car were taken, but the cars were left alone. People are encouraged to take valuables out of their vehicles and make sure they are locked, parked in a lighted area and use an anti-theft device.
