IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Several Idaho school districts closed schools as temperatures dip below zero across much of the state.

Schools in Idaho Falls, Oneida County, Grace, Fort Hall, Blackfoot and others were closed in eastern Idaho, along with schools in southern Idaho's Jerome and Shoshone school districts.

Boise School District officials warned parents that some buses were running late because of the cold snap. The temperature was around 8 degrees below zero across much of the southern half of the state, dipping to 13 degrees below zero in Ashton on Monday morning.
