NAMPA, Idaho (AP) Administrators at a small western Idaho Christian college are asking students to report any incidents after it was revealed that their former president stepped down due to an inappropriate relationship with a student more than 25 years ago.

Northwest Nazarene University Interim President Joel Pearsall announced Thursday that since it was reported that David Alexander resigned in May in part because of a relationship he had with a student when he was a faculty member similar allegations have surfaced. Alexander was not named in the other incidents. The school released a statement last week revealing that his departure was in part to his relationship.

Pearsall says two staff members have been appointed as on-campus liaisons for students to share similar information. Northwest Nazarene University is a liberal arts school with more than 1,300 undergraduate and 700 graduate students.
