Commentary: Media Would Rather Muslim Hold Nuclear Trigger Than Trump

Does it strike anyone as odd that pundits fear a tea totaller named Donald Trump with his hand on a nuclear trigger but are O.K. with a Muslim President?  I’ve read twice in the last two weeks the words of angry conservatives who insist Trump can’t be trusted with a nuclear arsenal at his disposal.  As if for fun he’d start lobbing missiles at countries where he’d rather be doing business.  Meanwhile the nattering nabobs of negativism are howling because Ben Carson wouldn’t ever vote for a Muslim for President.  I’d likely fear some clock making Mohammaden more than I would the Donald.

Carson, by the way, didn’t call for any amendments barring Muslims from the Presidency.  He just expressed his beliefs, which happen to be those of a majority of Americans.

This whole Muslim controversy may quickly fade now that left-leaning media (always in the tank for Barack Obama) has fingered Hillary Clinton for starting the “Obama is a Muslim” rumor.  Media can’t win for trying but it’s what happens when you abuse your First Amendment rights in an effort to recruit the public into a self-loathing America hating mindset.  Is there an institution more despised than government and Wall Street in this country?  There are several if you divide them by print, Internet and broadcast and even more precisely by the letters of the alphabet housing these morally despicable human beings.  CNN, NBC, MSDNC, ABC, New York Times, Pravda-on-the-Potomac…
