Congressman Labrador Visits Twin Falls

(KLIX)- A congressman who normally wouldn’t be seen much in the Magic Valley made a stop in Twin Falls Wednesday. Congressman Raul Labrador visited with the Twin Falls County Republican Women during a luncheon. Representative Labrabor represents the 1st Congressional District, which includes southwest and northern Idaho. Congressman Labrador is from Puerto Rico and attended Brigham Young University. He was elected in 2010 to represent the first congressional district after serving in the state legislature. He says the battle’s in Washington continue over employment. Labrador worked as a immigration attorney before joining politics. He has a wife and five kids.
