(KLIX)- About 50 law enforcement officers ran down the street to support Special Olympics of Idaho. Officers with State police, Twin Falls Police, as well as area county deputies ran from Twin Falls City Park to Perkins Restaurant, about a 3 mile trek. At the end of the race the officers threw one of their own on top of the restaurant.  Officer Steven Gassert has been camped out on top Perkins, he sint scared of heights but has his worries. This year area officers hope to raise 5-thousand dollars. All today police officers will be collecting tips at Perkins. On Friday officers will help deliver pizza fro Maxie's. Any tip you give them will go to the Special Olympics.
