We've had such nice weather over the past several weeks, I found this very hard to believe. But, there is a report that predicts a change in weather patterns will bring snow to Idaho next week.

The good news (unless you'd love to shovel snow) is that this does not appear to reach down far enough to bring snow to the Magic Valley

Unofficial Networks shared a story about a bunch of moisture that will enter the Pacific Northwest next week. That combined with drastically dropping temperatures means many parts of Idaho could see snow. Here's what they said.

Snow next week is likely for the Cascades, Sierra, Wasatch, Tetons, central/northern Idaho, Montana, and a good portion of Colorado”Currently models indicate a low end moderate dump (4-7) with possible higher amounts in the northern Sierra, central Idaho, and Montana.

The good news (unless you'd love to shovel snow) is that this does not appear to reach down far enough to bring snow to the Magic Valley. I checked Weather.com and although there is a real good chance of moisture next Wednesday, the temps should be in the 40's and well above freezing.

But, if you have been itching to get your skis on, might want to check slope conditions to the north of us next week. If this report is right, there could be some sweet new powder there waiting to be shredded.
