BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will hear three cases in north-central Idaho next month at the University of Idaho College of Law. The federal appellate court normally sits in San Francisco, Seattle or Pasadena, Calif. but the judges frequently travel to other locations to hear cases. The court will be at the Moscow, Idaho law school campus on Oct. 1. While there, the judges will hear an appeal from the city of Coeur d'Alene in a wrongful dismissal lawsuit that was brought by a former police officer. The court will also hear cases involving a property condemnation dispute from Idaho Falls and a claim from an Idaho inmate that officials retaliated after he filed a lawsuit.
