Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - A three vehicle accident blocked a portion of Highway 93 in Jerome County Thursday morning. Idaho State Police troopers responded to the accident around 8:00 A.M. at 100 South and Highway 93, blocking southbound traffic at the intersection.

Police say Karen Sweat of Twin Falls was northbound in a 2005 Saturn. She had stopped, waiting to turn left onto 100 South when she was struck behind by a 2013 Ford van driven by David Wallace of Twin Falls. The impact pushed the Saturn into the southbound lane causing a head on collision with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Elizabeth Sant of Shoshone.
