Crash Near Richfield Claims One
The Idaho State Police are reporting a crash near Richmond that claimed one life.

On October 20, 2013, at 2:36 pm, Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle fatality crash on US Highway 26 at milepost 181, near Richfield. Juan Linares Nava, 19, of Richfield, was southbound on US-26 in a 2005 Ford F150 pickup. Donald Riley, 92, also of Richfield, was eastbound on 720 North driving a Kawasaki Mule ATV. Riley did not yield at the intersection with US-26, and the two vehicles collided head-on. Riley was not wearing a helmet. He succumbed at the scene to his injuries. Next of kin has been notified.
Both lanes of US-26 were blocked for approximately two and a half hours while officers investigated.
