TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Are flowers blooming at your house? If not, you might want to visit the upcoming plant sale at the College of Southern Idaho.

The event is planned from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 29 at the CSI greenhouses just west of the College of Southern Idaho campus.

You’ll have a variety from which to choose, and you’ll be helping the greenhouses clear out their stock so they can prepare for next year’s batch of planted products. Items available from CSI horticulture students include succulents, flowers, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, baskets and planters.

The event is geared for families, according to horticulture instructor Chance Munns in information from the college, as visitors will be able to receive free hot dogs and yogurt, courtesy of Falls Brand and Chobani, respectively, and there will be balloons and a bounce house for children. If you want dessert, CSI’s Baking and Pastry Arts students will sell $1 cupcakes as a club fundraiser.
