TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – The Music Student of the Year will be presented May 7 at an Honors Recital at the College of Southern Idaho.

At the event, held at the college’s Fine Arts Auditorium, students will perform a variety of instruments, including the drum, hard, marimba and snare – and, of course, their voices.

You’ll hear music from the masters such as Bach, Copland and Roussel, among others. The recital is open to the public, according to a CSI news release, but the college’s Music Department is suggesting a $5 donation to go to its Music Scholarship Fund. A reception will follow the performance.
