The students in the welding classes at the College of Southern Idaho have been concerned for the past two weeks if they would actually be able to get their certification upon graduation.  The two certified welding instructors at CSI, Kent Parish and Juan Martinez,  have been on paid administrative leave since early this month.  What’s more, the investigation over a personnel matter is not complete and will take a while longer.  It was announced this week that CSI has hired two more instructors who are certified to inspect the students work to award them their certification.  Both of the new instructors are out of the Boise area.  Brian Sprinkle and Alvin Hill will finish teaching the CSI course until the end of the semester and will be able to certify the students by graduation time.
