Patrick Snay was the former head of a private preparatory school in Miami. At the age of 69, his contract with Gulliver Preparatory School wasn't renewed, which led to a legal battle.

In November 2011, Snay and the school reached an agreement in which Snay would receive $10,000 in back pay and $80,000 as part of a settlement. The Gulliver schools also agreed to pay Snay's attorneys $60,000.All seemed good for Patrick, but not long after the settlement, Snay's daughter took to Facebook, boasting, "Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver. Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT."

The post was seen by her 1,200 friends on Facebook, and that includes many past and current students at Gulliver.

Soon after her post, the Gulliver schools sent a letter to Snay's attorneys stating that he had broken a confidentiality agreement and that he wouldn't be receiving the $80,000 settlement.

A court recently ruled that in fact Snay violated the confidentiality agreement and reversed the circuit court's ruling. Ouch.

Snay is currently the headmaster at Rivera Preparatory School in Coral Gables, Florida.
