Did Mom Go Too Far By Publicly Shaming Her Daughter for Cyber Bullying?

According to a video by The Young Turks (above), a Reddit user posted a picture of a 12 year old girl being punished for cyber bullying.  The consequence?  She had to endure cyber bullying herself.

The public shaming issue comes up again and again, but it takes on a new level of publicity with 1) parenting, and 2) the Internet.
