As we all know, Disney and Marvel Studios aren't done making blockbusters based on Marvel Comics just yet. We've got ‘Iron Man 3,’ ‘Thor: The Dark World,’ ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier,’ and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ to look forward to between now and the end of 2014. And now we've learned that Disney’s first animated film based on a Marvel comic could be hitting theaters as soon as November 2014.

Disney and Marvel Studios are reportedly bringing the Marvel superhero comic ‘Big Hero 6’ to theaters next year. A new report from Bleeding Cool states that the Marvel animated flick is slated for a November 2014 release in Spain, and the U.S. release will happen around the same time.

‘Big Hero 6’ isn't as popular a book as, say, ‘The Avengers’ or ‘Iron Man,’ of course, but the comic sounds like it could make a pretty unique action-adventure flick. The book centers on a team of superheroes formed by the Japanese government who live under a Japanese theme park. 'Big Hero 6' characters include Silver Samurai, a mutant who wields a supercharged katana, Sunfire, a former X-Man gifted with the power of flight and super heat generation, and Fred, aka “Fredzilla,” because of his ability to turn into a giant lizard-like monster.

This sounds like it could be a pretty crazy animated film if they stick close to the source material. What do you think? Are you excited to see ‘Big Hero 6’ hit theaters?
