The Twin Falls Community Foundation held an open house yesterday giving area residents a chance to look at some proposed plans for the fountain area in downtown.  Members of the foundation believe the area can be revitalized to help bring more interest to the downtown area. Five concept drawings were presented during the open house and Foundation members say almost all the comments were positive.  The current fountain area was built in the early 1970’s.  Foundation members approached the Twin Falls City Council with an idea to upgrade the fountain at a recent City Council meeting.  The group was given the go-ahead to present some plans and ideas.  The Community Foundation is bearing all expenses for the proposed plans.  The group hopes to have the plans presented to the City Council by late March or early April so the next phase can be planned.
