Downtown Fountain May Disappear

The Twin Falls city fountain that has adorned the downtown area on Main St. for decades may soon be disappearing.  The Twin Falls Community Foundation will ask the Twin Falls City Council at tonight’s meeting for permission to destroy the fountain and redevelop the area in a new Main Ave Fountain Plaza..  This would be a community service project of the Foundation which would bear the brunt of the cost with only minimal cost to taxpayers.  The Plaza would be located right next to the Idaho Youth Ranch store.  The plans call for a brand new water fixture replacing the current one.
