INKOM, Idaho (AP) — Idaho State Police are investigating after a motorist on Interstate 15 struck a barrel in the road near Inkom in southeast Idaho. Police the driver wasn't injured in the collision that occurred about 5:45 a.m. Monday.

Police say the barrel contained Clean Strip Form Release that's used to make sure material such as concrete doesn't stick to form liners. The Idaho Transportation Department was called to clean up the spilled material that went over two lanes.

The roadway wasn't closed. Police say the barrel likely fell off a vehicle sometime during the night, and they're trying to find that vehicle.
